VERSA VERSA articles are handmade with passion & beautiful leathers.

To preserve all its qualities, we advise you to take special care of your bag.

The leathers must be protected, especially when they are light in colour. Bad weather, humidity and heat can damage the skin.

When the bag is not being used, store it carefully in its protective pouch.

In order to conserve the original richness of the leather and its coloring, avoid all prolonged exposure to heat or intense light sources.

Avoid contact with water, oil, perfume and cosmetic products. If your bag becomes wet, dab the leather with a soft, light tissue to absorb the liquid.

Take care not to brush against abrasive surfaces. On certain leathers, the resulting scratches can be alleviated by delicately massaging.

Never machinewash your accessory. If you stain your bag, cleanse it with a clean, damp cloth with glycerin Marseille soap.

Applying a non oil-based revitalizing cream from time to time will reduce colour fade in the leather. Before treating the whole bag, test on a small area for precaution

These natural and living materials need to be regularly cared for. In general they should not be exposed for long periods of time to direct sunlight or humidity..

Smooth or Grained leathers

Smooth or grained leathers should be cleaned with a soft and dampened cloth. Once the leather is dry you can polish it in circular strokes using a high quality colourless cream and a soft cloth.

Patent Leathers

Patent leathers should be cleaned with a soft dampened light coloured cloth, and then dried with a clean cloth. To avoid colour migration, please do not put your patent leather handbag into prolonged contact with other leathers.

metallic leathers

Metallic leathers should be cleaned with the help of a soft and dry cloth.

Exotic leathers

Exotic leathers should be cleaned with a soft and dry cloth and then polished, in the direction of the scales, using a high quality colourless cream. These leathers are delicate and very sensitive to humidity. If at anytime they do come into contact with water, sponge them carefully with a soft absorbent cloth.

Goat suede, calf suede and Nubuck leathers

To preserve the velvety texture of these leathers, gently rub your handbag with a soft brush. If your handbag in suede has been in contact with water, it is important to let it dry before cleaning them. In the case of superficial stains, we advise the use of a rubber brush.

Calfhair leather

These precious and delicate calf leather have kept all their natural hair due to a special process. The eventual colour shades this demonstrate this authenticity. To clean calf leathers, use a soft and lightly dampened cloth and always respect the direction of the hair. Avoid repeated rubbing with abrasive objects (trouser hems, brushes…) which may alter the sooth appearance of the calf hair.

Goat or calf suede leather linings

Made or goatskin or calfskin leather, suede lining is extremely delicate. It is specially treated to stabilise the colour pigments, but there is still a risk of colour release, which is due to their natural comfort.
